A prescription is not required for consultation. However, a prescription is required for us to submit to insurance for authorization or to provide a device to a patient. We strongly recommend each patient obtain a prescription for consultation prior to the initial visit. If this is not possible, Westcoast Brace & Limb Specialty Care Coordinators will be happy to assist patients in this process.
