Adaptive Kayaking Clinic

Westcoast Brace & Limb patients and Amputees Together of Florida, Inc. support group members enjoyed a wonderful free adaptive kayaking clinic last month at Safety Harbor Veteran’s Memorial Park. Thank you to Terry Hobbs, Certified L-IV Kayaker, Certified Adaptive Paddler Trainer, and owner of Severn Kayaking , Terry’s friends, Larry, an above elbow amputee, and Dan, a below knee amputee, and all the others who helped to make this a special day. The feedback from participants was overwhelming:

“This really opened doors for me.”
-Diane

“I’m hooked on this (kayaking) now!”
-Michael

“I’m never going to let anything stop me.”
-David
