The EdisonT Adaptive Vacuum Suspension System represents the next generation of vacuum suspension systems. Westcoast Brace & Limb is proud to have been asked to participate in the product’s testing and ongoing development, and we are pleased to be the first orthotic and prosthetic organization in Florida to now offer the Edison Pump as an option for our patients. EdisonT, the latest addition to Orthocare Innovations’ line of advanced, intelligent prosthetic products, offers a combination of adaptive control and silent operation that is unique in the market today.

Silent

  • Large-bore piston operates at low speeds with high efficiency
  • In-line pump is housed in a protective, insulated casing

Adaptive

  • Automatically varies vacuum to meet the specific needs of daily activities, and assures optimal comfort when patient is at rest
  • Variable vacuum levels may add benefit to patients suffering from residual limb discomfort associated with dysvascular conditions
  • 18-hour battery and patient input free control allows for true
    worry-free performancee

Intelligent

  • Prosthetists can select from one of 3 standard patient, or customizable, vacuum range profiles
  • On board memory allows prosthetist to verify device and socket performance on return office visits and to assess adjustments made
