Our goal at Westcoast Brace & Limb is to provide you with the highest quality of care.
One way we can make the experience at Westcoast Brace & Limb more enjoyable is to let you know what to expect when you walk through our doors.
Prior to Visit:
New patient forms can be downloaded on our website and completed in advance. If you choose to fill out these important forms when you arrive, please allow at least 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete the information so you and our other patients can be seen on time.
Items to Bring to Your Appointment:
Insurance card & Photo ID
Prescription (if you have one)
Insurance Referral (when applicable)
Information on medical history
Office Visit:
Completion of initial paperwork and signature forms
(Please arrive at least 20 minutes before your
appointment to complete these important documents!)
Evaluation by a practitioner
Insurance verification
Education on patient financial responsibility and, if needed, payment arrangements
Orthotic and/or prosthetic care provided
Arrangement of necessary follow-up
Appointments vs. Walk-ins:
Appointments are preferred, especially if you require a longer period of time with a practitioner. However, walk-in patients are always welcome. As a walk-in patient, there may be a longer wait to see a practitioner, but we try to fit people in as quickly as possible without compromising the quality of our care.
Our Mobile Unit:
Practitioners on call 24-hours a day, 7 days a week
We can bring the highest quality care right to you. Professionals in our Mobile Unit serve Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk and Pasco counties to reach:
Homebound patients:
Residents of medical facilities
Patients in need of emergency after-hours care
Westcoast Brace & Limb’s Mobile Unit vans are fully-equipped with all necessary technology and tools so that complex adjustments of orthotic and prosthetic devices can be done where patients need them.
Westcoast Brace & Limb offers a wide range of orthotic & prosthetic devices; however, we do not carry durable medical equipment (DME) items such as canes, walkers, wheelchairs or scooters.
We appreciate the opportunity to be part of your rehabilitation plan.
